Ask a Question

What does ``reflex tripping`` mean on the NSF trip curves?

Reflex tripping means that the circuit breaker uses the buildup of gas pressure within the breaker during an interruption to effect a faster trip than would otherwise occur. When you have a high fault it gives the breaker a head start in tripping.
