Ask a Question

If the ATV31 analog output is set for output frequency with a maximum configured value of 20ma, why does it only provide 17ma rather than the 20ma when the drive output frequency is 60hz?

The analog output provides a signal proportional to the motor frequency estimated by the drive controller. The minimum configured value corresponds to zero while the maximum configured value of the analog output corresponds to the maximum frequency setting (tFr), not the high speed setting (HSP). The default tFr setting is 20% higher than the HSP. (72 hz for 60 hz applications, 60 hz for 50 hz applications). Need to set the tFr parameter to 60 hz to match the HSP setting of 60 Hz. The tFr parameter is found in the drC menu.
