Issue:
Is HVL bus rated for 1250 amps per square inch?  (Current Density)

Product Line:
HVL.

Environment:
Products sold in the United States.

Cause:
Product features.

Resolution:
The 1200A and 2000A main bus is 800 amps per square inch. This current densify is a good rating because it is less than 1250 amps per square inch. Bus risers from the switch to the main bus have to carry 1600 amps per square inch. These do not meet the requirements of 1250 amps per square inch. Exception must be taken to these. The largest switch is 1200 amps.
