Ask a Question

What is the RJ45 pin out cable for the ATV28 600v?

The RJ45 connector uses two wire RS-485 connection for Modbus communications.
Pin 4 is the DB (+). Pin 5 is DA (-). These terminals are for communication.
Pin 7 is 10 VDC and 8 is 0 VDC. These are used for the remote keypad when connected to this drive.
The pins are numbered from Left to Right when looking at the front of the drive.
When using the Powersuite connection kit (VW3A8106) the 575 - 600 VAC Altivar 28 drives use the cable that works with most current products. It does not use the cable that is for ATV28 drives built before 9/2001.
