Ask a Question

Why should fuses and overcurrent relays on a Visi/Vac Circuit Interrupter.

The interrupting value of the Visi/Vac circuit interrupter is 12,500 amps Symmetrical.

If the available fault current exceeds 12,500 amps, then fuses must be added to increase the integrated interrupting amps.

Over Current Relays will still operate at normal levels of fault current below 12,500 amps.
