Ask a Question

How can a MCT-12B clock/timer be used remotely (the clock/timer placed in a location such that controls on it`s face are not convenient?) In such an application, is the optional battery pack MCT-BP required?

If customer is using MCT-12B  remotely, a MCT-CT remote control unit is required so as to place controls for the clock/timer in a suitable accessible location.  The MCT-CT includes a battery back-up, hence rendering the MCT-BP unnecessary when the MCT-CT is applied.. If the MCT-12B clock/timer is applied in an accessible location where the controls are readily available as defined in the applicable codes and standards for Health Care Facilites, then the MCT-BP battery back-up is an option to use in case of a power failure.  The battery back-up preserves the clock time and timer function of the MCT-12B, but does not provide display during the power failure.
