Ask a Question

Is there a way to order Dry Type Transformers that are domestically manufactured (in the United States) rather than at a facility that may be in another country?

Requirement for Domestic Manufactured Transformers

Product Line:
LV Transformers

Applies to Transformers by SquareD/Schneider Electric

The Buy American Act,  ARRA requirements

It is possible to have a Transformer built in the USA, in our Huntington, Indiana Transformer Plant.  The suffix ``DM,`` often added to catalog numbers, stands for Domestic Manufacture for Low Voltage Dry Type Distribution Transformers.  Schneider Electric does not typically allow the choice of manufacturing location for their Low Voltage Transformers.  However, there are options for ordering Transformers that are manufactured in the United States for BAA.    You may obtain a quotation through your local SquareD/Schneider Electric Distributor or Field Office, being sure to supply the actual RULES that need to be complied with.
