Ask a Question

What does ``Integrated Interrupting Rating`` in a panel mean?

The interrupting rating of a panel can be no greater than the lowest AIC rating of any breaker in it. So, even though the highest rated breaker in the panel may be good for 100K and one breaker is rated 10K AIC, then the integrated panel rating can only be 10K unless a series rating can be applied.
